Millennium Plaza
Stolp Avenue

Millennium Plaza is situated along Stolp Avenue behind the historic Leland Tower (now Fox Island Apartments) in downtown Aurora. The public park is a landmark with its Millennium tower that points to the North Star. Wide stairs that look out to the Fox River descend to a gazebo perfect for live music or performance.


Mundy Park is a small pocket park in downtown Aurora that faces Broadway and opens up to Water Street Mall near Aurora’s City Hall. The park has picnic tables and benches and is the perfect place to picnic or relax in the shade of the locust trees. Local musicians perform in the park on the last Saturday of August during Alley Art Festival.

Phillips Park Zoo

Established in 1915, the zoo is open daily, year-round and admission is free. Exhibits include bald eagles, wolves, cougars, foxes, otters, elk, goats, llamas, turkeys and peacocks.
